Roy Mitchell Jr. developed & teaches for the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice. Young men entering the course must score at least 90 percent on exams for measurement and math, how to create a pattern, fabric knowledge, as well as 250 sewing & quilting vocabulary words. As a final exam, students are given dimensions for a quilt & must determine pattern & construction details.
